Condition
Multiple photos are provided for each lot. All items are considered used and in average condition. Items are sold with all faults. Any condition statement that is given as a courtesy to a buyer and is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Karin A. Costa shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. It is important to note that all items are sold as is and Karin A. Costa strongly suggests talking to her about the condition prior to bidding at auction or attending the preview on Facetime or in person, whichever service is offered.

Creating an Account
First time bidders create an account at Karin A. Costa. on the Register to Bid tab.
Bidding at Auction
After viewing and assessing the items of interest and reading, understanding and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of Auction, you may place a bid on the designated bidding platform. In-person and telephone bids are not accepted in Online Only auctions. Bid increments are posted in the catalog and the computer will advance your bid against any competing bid only in these increments.
Conditions of Sale
All sales are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Auction. Please fully read and understand them prior to placing any bids. When creating an account or registering to bid online, you will be prompted to agree to our Terms. Please read them for each auction as terms may change without notice. Any questions should be directed our office.
Buyer's Premium
In addition to the hammer price, the buyer agrees to pay Karin A. Costa a buyer’s premium and the applicable sales tax added to the final total. The buyer’s premium for purchases made is twelve percent (5%) of the hammer price.
State and local sales taxes will be added to the hammer price and buyer’s premium. Current resale certificates must be provided at each sale. Otherwise, sales tax will be applied.
Invoicing
If you successfully win an item, an invoice will be emailed to you within 24 hours. It will be sent to the email address on your registration. Please check your spam folder.
Forms of Payment
Karin A. Costa accepts cash (US currency) in exact change at the pick up.
Pick Up/Removal of Purchases
All purchases must be removed at the buyer's expense, labor and tools during the day and time posted in the auction catalog. There are no exceptions, since we have access to the locations for a limited time.
Buyers make an appointment for pick up on the Sign-Up Genius form before the close of sign up.
